How do I generate a TRACES NT Due Diligence Statement (DDS) for Oli de palma (HS 1511)?
Under Articles 9, 10 and 11 of Regulation (EU) 2023/1115 (EUDR), operators must collect WGS84 (EPSG:4326) geolocation coordinates with at least 6 decimal places for all plots of land in ID, verify the 31 December 2020 deforestation cut-off date, and submit the DDS via the TRACES NT SOAP V3 Web Service or JSON/GeoJSON web package to obtain the customs Y129 Reference Number.
Why does EU TRACES NT reject GeoJSON polygons with interior rings ("Doughnut shapes") or over 25 MB?
According to the official EUDR GeoJSON File Description v1.5, polygons with holes (interior rings) and figure-8 self-intersections are rejected. ForestTrace automatically cuts doughnut polygons across two bridges into two contiguous simple polygons, strips Z-elevations and CRS tags, enforces the 4-hectare rule, and compresses coordinates below 25 MB.
What is required for Customs SAD Box 44 / TARIC Code Y129?
Customs clearance requires both the official TRACES NT Reference Number (e.g. 26XX...) and Verification Number in AVAILABLE status, plus 5-year archival of the Annex II dossier.
